The plan for South Point Hotel Las Vegas is for a much larger hotel and much larger casino, eventually, but that hasn't happened yet. There is a coffee machine in each room, and thankfully, they don't charge you to use that. Internet is available for a ludicrous daily fee.
The bathrooms are okay, but below the standard set by the newer hotels, and have a tub/shower combo. In the regular rooms for us regular folk you have your choice of a king with a love-seat by the window, or two queens with a reading chair (or watching TV chair-your choice). The only real highlight is the humongous plasma screen on the wall that broadcasts mostly unspectacular local channels. The rooms at South Point Hotel, Casino and Spa Las Vegas are slightly better than average sized rooms with nice furnishings in a sort of depressing mix of yellows and browns.
